What is the Coolride Comfort Alpin grip heating system?
The Comfort grip heating system is based on a pair of Coolride heating cartridges that are built into the handlebars and specifically heat them from the inside. They are controlled with a powerful, 5-stage electronic power controller, which can be installed completely invisible due to its small dimensions. Operation and performance display are via a discreet, waterproof push button made of anodized aluminum. In the event of fluctuations in the outside temperature, the power controller records the deviations via a temperature sensor and automatically adjusts its output in 20 steps.

The power controller SPC-5TC follows a puristic operating concept. The SPC-5TC Alpin power controller offers temperature compensation. A temperature sensor continuously registers changes in the outside temperature, e.g. when driving on passes or changes in the weather, and independently changes the heat output in 20 finely tuned levels.
